Yokotone Gate Fureai Park

The Yokotone gate, built in 1921, is a brick double gate located at the confluence of the Tone River and the Yokotone River.

It is a national Important Cultural Property and it continues to operate to this day. It borders Chiba Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture and is surrounded by the gardens on both sides.

Within the park, there is a western-style garden, a waterfront plaza, a picnic square, and a lawn.

It is a picturesque place with a sweeping view of the riverside region, and is a famous spot for cherry blossom viewing.
