Sawara・Historical District・Bamboo Lantern

To encourage people to enjoy a summer night stroll in this charming historical district, the Sawara Wife Association has organized the “Sawara・Historical District・Bamboo Lantern ～ enjoying the lights and sounds in a yukata (summer kimono).” Locals make bamboo lanterns and light up the town with their sparks of hope.
