Iki Iki Yamada Carp Streamer Festival

Carp streamers calmly swim above Tachibana Weir, which is surrounded by undeveloped woodland. You can peacefully watch them from the lawn area, from the esplanade or from the top of Sakura-no-Sato hill.
These carp streamers are set up to celebrate Children's Day, a public holiday here in Japan. You can enjoy this sight in early May.

• Take the Chiba Kotsu Bus (Fuma Line) bound for JR Asahi Station from JR Omigawa Station for 15 minutes. Get off at Tabe Sōko-mae bus stop and walk for 15 minutes.

• 25 min from Sawara-Katori IC on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway
• 10 min by taxi from JR Omigawa Station
