Sawara town-walk for Warrior dolls

At the Sawara Neighborhood Museum, organized by the Sawara Wife Association, shops throughout Sawara’s Historical District display their family treasures. The Sawara Boys’ May Festival Doll Tour, which takes place from April to May, is one of their temporary exhibits. During this time period, over half of the shops that are part of the Sawara Neighborhood Museum display their precious samurai dolls, which have been handed down for many generations.

The Sawara Visitor’s Center and other nearby facilities also display festival dolls, each with their own unique characteristics.

Exhibits can be found in shops that have a bright green banner flag in front. Please feel free to enter these shops.
