Little Edo Summit

Katori City of Chiba Prefecture, Tochigi City of Tochigi Prefecture, and Kawagoe City of Saitama Prefecture were connected to Edo (present-day Tokyo) through water transport. As these three cities developed, all have float festivals and streets with many storehouses, and have developed under the influence of Edo history, culture, and customs. Because of this, they became known as “Little Edo.” These three Little Edo cities come together during the Little Edo Summit.
In 1996, the "Little Edo Sawara Kai" was established in Sawara City (currently Katori City), and since then, the "Little Edo Summit" has been held every year along with the "Koedo Kawagoe Kai" in Kawagoe City and the "Koedo Tochigi Kai" in Tochigi City. We continue to exchange opinions and exchange opinions on town planning that makes the most of traditional culture.
